Hello Everyone,

My name is Harvey Curry and I have been teaching at LFCS for 8 years and overall for 24 years.  Teaching and young people are my passion!  I have coached Little League baseball, youth basketball, and was the youth pastor at my church for 12 years.

I love listening to, singing, and playing music.  I think that music can set the mood in the classroom and also make your problems not seem quite so large, especially when listening to music for the soul and heart. I have played the clarinet, saxophone, drums and currently sing in a Temptations tribute group called Remembrance. We sing for many private groups and have sung in Las Vegas, for Berry Gordy and Smokey Robinson. This past year we had the pleasure of singing at LFCS's own Rebeka Norris' wedding reception.  We have been blessed in this ministry.

I enjoy having fun in my class and believe that children should be respected, treated fairly and given a chance to express themselves in a respectful manner.

 I am a big sports fan, particularly baseball and football.  I love attending the games and activities of my students. Be sure to give me your schedules and I'll try and make an event/game. 

Each year I look forward to my new class and anticipate with pleasure the journey, and adventures we are about to take.

I look forward to having an amazing year this year.
